(Relating to reporting on disability plans)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Act 1984, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Regulation 1995 is amended by inserting in Schedule 1 after the matter relating to Equal employment opportunity the following matter:

Disability plans

A statement setting out the progress during the reporting year in implementing the statutory

body’s disability plan (if such a plan is required
under the Disability Services Act 1993)

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to require each statutory body required to prepare an annual report to include in that report a statement on the progress in implementing its disability plan. Such plans are required to be prepared by certain statutory bodies under section 9 of the Disability Services Act 1993.

This Regulation is made under the Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Act 1984, including sections 7 (l), 9 (2) and 17 (the general regulation making power, in particular section 17 (2) (a)).
