Amendment (OHS) Regulation 1998

Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Act 1984

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Act 1984.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to require a statutory body to include in its

1997-1998 and subsequent annual reports:

(a) a statement setting out the statutory body's occupational health and safety performance during the reporting year, and
(b) such related statistical information for the reporting year as is determined by the Secretary of the Treasury.

This Regulation is made under the Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Act 1984, including sections 9 and 17 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies)

Amendment (OHS) Regulation 1998.

2     Amendment of Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Regulation

1995

The Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Regulation 1995 is

amended as set out in Schedule 1.

Schedule 1 Report of operations

Insert at the end of the Schedule:

Occupational health and safety In the case of a statutory body's
annual report for its 1997-98
financial year, and any subsequent
financial year:

a statement setting out the
statutory body's occupational
health and safety performance
during the reporting year
(including details of
work-related injuries,
work-related illnesses and
prosecutions under the
Occupational Health and Safety

Act 1983), and

statistical information for the
reporting year of such kind, and
set out in such form, as is
determined by the Secretary of
the Treasury.
