His Excellency the Governor. with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Act 1984.

The object of this Regulation is to require a statutory body to include in its 1997–1998 to 1999–2000 annual reports information on the statutory body’s activities in relation to the Year 2000 Millennium Bug (that is, problems associated with the use in computer programs of a two digit year code rather than a four digit century/year code).

This Regulation is made under the Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Act 1984, including sections 9 and 17 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation

2 Amendment of Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Regulation 1995

The Annual Reports (Statutory Bodies) Regulation 1995 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.

following:

the scope and status of the statutory body's Year 2000 project,

any proposal to develop
contingency plans to ensure
the continued operation of
the statutory body's critical
business functions,
any proposal to obtain
independent verification of
the statutory body's Year

2000 compliance strategies,

the statutory body's Year the estimated total cost of

2000 project.
