(Amendment) Act 1997

An Act to amend the Annual Reports (Government Agencies) Act 1995

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

Short title

1.  This Act may be cited as the Annual Reports (Government Agencies) (Amendment) Act 1997.

Commencement

2.  This Act commences on the day on which it is notified in the Gazette.

Principal Act

3.  In this Act, “Principal Act” means the Annual Reports (Government Agencies) Act 1995.1

Interpretation

4.  Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended—

(a)by inserting after paragraph (a) of the definition of “Territory instrumentality” the following paragraph:

“(aa)is a Territory owned corporation within the meaning of the Territory Owned Corporations Act 1990;”;

(b)by adding “or” at the end of paragraph (d) of the definition of “Territory instrumentality”; and

(c)by omitting paragraph (e) of the definition of “Territory instrumentality”.
