Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Annual Reports (Departments) Act 1985.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend Schedule 1 to the Annual Reports (Departments) Regulation 2005 by replacing a reference to the ethnic affairs priority statement with a reference to the multicultural policies and services program. Schedule 1 of that Regulation prescribes certain matters and particulars that must be included in the annual report prepared by a Department.
This Regulation is made under the Annual Reports (Departments) Act 1985, including section

11 and section 20 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Annual Reports (Departments) Amendment
(Multicultural Policies and Services Program) Regulation 2009.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Annual Reports (Departments) Regulation 2005

Schedule 1 Report of operations

Omit the matter relating to “Ethnic affairs priorities statement” from

Columns 1 and 2.

Insert instead in Columns 1 and 2 respectively:

Multicultural A statement setting out the key multicultural strategies
policies and proposed by the Department for the following year and the
services progress in implementing the Department’s multicultural
program policies and services plan and information as to the
multicultural policies and services plans of any body reporting
to the Department
