Amendment (OHS) Regulation 1998

Annual Reports (Departments) Act 1985His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Annual Reports (Departments) Act 1985.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to require a Department to include in its
1997-1998 and subsequent annual reports:
(a)
a statement setting out the Department’s occupational health and safety performance during the reporting year, and
(b)
such related statistical information for the reporting year as is determined by the Secretary of the Treasury.
This Regulation is made under the Annual Reports (Departments) Act 1985,
including sections 11 and 20 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Annual Reports (Departments)
Amendment (OHS) Regulation 1998.
2 Amendment of Annual Reports (Departments) Regulation 1995
The Annual Reports (Departments) Regulation 1995 is amended
as set out in Schedule 1 .

Occupational health and safety In the case of a Department’s
annual report for its 1997-98
financial year, and any subsequent
financial year:a statement setting out the
Department’s occupational
health and safety performance
during the reporting year
(including details of
work-related injuries,
work-related illnesses andprosecutions under the
Occupational Health and Safety
Act 1 9 8 3 ) , and
reporting year of such kind, and statistical information for the set out in such form, as is
determined by the Secretary of
the Treasury.
