AN ACT regarding the observance of the Anniversary

of the Birthday of the reigning Sovereign.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

Short title. 1. This Act may be cited as the Anniversary of the Birthday of the Reigning Sovereign Act, 1937.

anniversary of the birthday of the reigning Sovereign, or on some other day appointed thereunder, then, not- withstanding any such provision, the Governor may by proclamation published in the Gazette declare that the holiday shall be observed on any day which may be speci- fied in the proclamation in lieu of the day provided or appointed in any such Act, award, or agreement.
