2 Animals Protection (Use of Animals for Scientific Experiments) Amendment (No. 1) No. 215, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Animals Protection (Use of Animals for Scientific Experiments) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1992 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Animals Protection (Use of Animals for Scientific Experiments) Regulation 1991 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Amendment of s.4 (Persons bound by the Code) 3. At the end of section 4— insert — ‘(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a scientific establishment that, or a person who— (a) proposes to conduct; or (b) conducts; a scientific experiment in which wild birds are trapped, banded and immediately released. ’.
