Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Animal Diseases (Emergency Outbreaks) Act 1991.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to prescribe persons to whom the functions of the Minister including section 67 and section 78 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Animal Diseases (Emergency Outbreaks)
Amendment (Prescribed Persons) Regulation 2011.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on the day on which it is published on the
NSW legislation website.

Omit the clause. Insert instead:

6      Delegation

For the purposes of section 67 of the Act, the persons holding the following positions in the Department are prescribed:

(a)	Deputy Director-General, Primary Industries,
(b)	Principal Director, Biosecurity,
(c)	Principal Director, Fisheries and Compliance,
(d)	Director, Animal Biosecurity,
(e)	Director, Emergencies and Animal Welfare,
(f)	Director, Agricultural Compliance,
(g)	Principal Director, Industry Development, Agriculture and Forestry,
(h)	Director, Agricultural Production and Industry

Development,

(i)      Director, Fisheries and Ecosystems Research,

(j)	Director, Fisheries Conservation and Aquaculture,
(k)	Director, Fisheries Compliance,
(l)	Director, Invasive Species and LHPA Liaison,
(m)	Director, Biosecurity Enhancement and Information Systems,
(n)	Director, Invasive Species.
