Animal Care and Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2014 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Animal Care and Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2014 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Animal Care and Protection Regulation 2012. 3 Amendment of sch 2 (Code of practice about pigs) (1) Schedule 2, section 1— insert herd health program , for a pig, means a written procedure that— (a) identifies potential risks to the pig of sickness or disease; and (b) provides for specific actions to prevent or minimise the risks. (2) Schedule 2, section 3(1)— insert (c) the person has received, for a period of at least 12 months, practical training and experience in husbandry procedures at a pig establishment that, during the period, complied with an industry recognised quality assurance program or had in place an industry recognised herd health program for pigs at the establishment.
