Animal Care and Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2013 [s 1] 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Animal Care and Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2013 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the Animal Care and Protection Regulation 2012. 3 Replacement of s 9 (Declared class of persons for inspectors—Act, s 114) Section 9— omit , insert— ‘9 Declared class of persons for inspectors—Act, s 114 ‘For section 114 of the Act, the following are declared to be an approved class of persons— (a) employees of an incorporated association, under the AssociationsIncorporationAct1981 , whose objects include animal welfare or the provision of facilities to care for animals; (b) employees of Safe Food, under the FoodProduction(Safety)Act2000, who are an authorised officer appointed under section 83(1)(a) of that Act.’.
