Animal (Brands and Movement) Amendment Regulations 2014
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Animal (Brands and Movement) Act 1984 .22 December 2014

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Animal (Brands and Movement) Amendment Regulations 2014 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which Schedule 4 to the Primary Produce Safety Act 2011 commences. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Animal (Brands and Movement) Regulations 2014 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 3 amended (Interpretation) Regulation 3(1) of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by inserting the following definition before the definition of Act : accredited meat premises has the same meaning as in the Primary Produce Safety (Meat and Poultry) Regulations 2014 ; (b) by omitting the definition of licensed meat premises . 5Regulation 17 amended (Tagging cattle for slaughter or sale) Regulation 17(1) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (a) and substituting the following paragraph: (a) slaughtered, by a person who is the holder of a relevant accreditation under Part 4 of the Primary Produce Safety Act 2011 , in accordance with that accreditation; or 6Regulation 24 amended (Moving cattle from one property to another) Regulation 24(4) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "licensed meat premises" from paragraph (a) of the definition of property and substituting "accredited meat premises". 7Regulation 25 amended (Moving cattle to accredited meat premises) Regulation 25 of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from subregulation (1) "licensed meat premises" and substituting "accredited meat premises"; (b) by omitting from subregulation (2) "licensed meat premises" first occurring and substituting "accredited meat premises"; (c) by omitting from subregulation (2)(a) "licensed meat premises" and substituting "accredited meat premises"; (d) by omitting from subregulation (2)(b) "licensed meat premises" and substituting "accredited meat premises"; (e) by omitting from subregulation (3)(d) "licensed meat premises" and substituting "accredited meat premises"; (f) by omitting from subregulation (3)(e) "licensed meat premises" first occurring and substituting "accredited meat premises"; (g) by omitting from subregulation (3)(e) "exempt licensed meat premises" and substituting "exempt accredited meat premises"; (h) by omitting the definition of exempt licensed meat premises from subregulation (4) and substituting the following definition: exempt accredited meat premises means accredited meat premises that the Registrar, by instrument in writing, determines to be exempt accredited meat premises for the purposes of this regulation; 8Schedule 4 amended (Tagging cattle for slaughter or sale) Schedule 4 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows: (a) by omitting from clause 3(1) "licensed meat premises" and substituting "accredited meat premises"; (b) by omitting from clause 5(1)(b) "licensed meat premises" and substituting "accredited meat premises"; (c) by omitting from clause 6(1)(b) "licensed meat premises" and substituting "accredited meat premises".
