Kailway to Angle Pole.

HEREAS it is expedient to provide for the extension of the Preamble.

book of reference thereto, have, for the purposes of this Act, been deposited in the office of the Surveyor-General, at Adelaide, and signed "H. C. hlais, Engineer-in-Chief, 29/10/87 "-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Frovince of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said province, in this present Parliament assembled,

as

follows:

1, In the construction of this Act, the words " the Great Northern

Construction.

Railway " shall mean the main line of railway from Port Augusta, ~ i a Government Gums, Farina Town, Hergott Springs, and the Peake, duly authorised by Parliament, and shall include any future exten- sion.

2. The extension of the Great Northern Railway from Hergott

Springs to the Peake, as already constructed, is hereby authorised,

and the making and maintaining thcrcof shall be deemed to have been and to be duly authorised by the '' Kergott Springs to Primrose Springs Railway Act, 1883," as if the same had been expressely mentioned and referred to therein, instead of the railway from Hergott Springs to Primrose Springs.

3. The Commissioner of Railways may make and maintain a

further extension of the Great Northern Railway from the Peake to Angle Pole, together with all proper works and conveniences con- nected therewith, and may take possession of the lands delineated in the said plan deposited in the offices of the Surveyor-General for the purposes -of this Act.

The Hergott Springs and Primrose Springs Railway Act,

1883," and this Act, shall be incorporated and read as one Act.
