An Act to declare the law wi th respect to ancient

l ights . [1st December, 1904.]
Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative

authority of the same, as follows :—
1. From and after the commencement of this Act, no right to the access or use of light to or for any building shall be deemed to exist or to be capable of coming into existence by reason only of the enjoyment of such access or use for any period or of any presumption of a lost grant based upon such enjoyment.

2. This Act shall not affect the rights of the parties to any

decision pronounced by a competent court before the commencement
thereof, or of the parties to any proceeding now pending in which such
question had arisen before such commencement.

3. This Act may be cited as the " Ancient Lights Declaratory

Act, 1904."
