Regulations under the Roads and Public Places Ordinance

1937-1966.*

I, ANTHONY ALLAN STALEY, the Minister of State for the Capital Territory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Roads and Public Places Ordin­ ance 1937-1966.

AMENDMENTS OF THE ROADS AND PUBLIC PLACES REGULATIONS!

1.    Regulation 3 of the Roads and Public Places Regulations is amended—

(a)	by omitting from paragraph (a) the words "the First Schedule to these Regulations " and substituting the word and figure "Schedule 1 "; and
(b)	by omitting from paragraph (b) the words " the Second Schedule to these Regulations " and substituting the word and figure " Schedule 2 ".

2. The Schedules to the Roads and Public Places Regulations are repealed

and the following Schedules substituted:—

SCHEDULE 1 Paragraph 3 (a)

Concrete pavement	. .	$100.00 or an amount calculated at the rate of $32.00 for each square metre or part of a square metre of the surface opened up or broken, whichever is the greater
Bituminous concrete pavement	$50.00 or an amount calculated at the rate of $11.00 for each

or bituminous surfaced square metre or part of a square metre of the surface opened $40.00 or an amount calculated at the rate of $3.00 for each square metre or part of a square metre of the surface opened up or

pavement up or broken, whichever is the greater

Gravel pavement . . . .

Concrete pavement—

(a) where the thickness of the	$50.00 or an amount calculated at the rate of $5.00 for each

Bituminous concrete pavement $30.00 or an amount calculated at the rate of $4.00 for each

or bituminous surfaced square metre or part of a square metre of the surface opened

pavement up or broken, whichever is the greater

Gravel pavement . . . . $30.00 or an amount calculated at the rate of $2.00 for each square metre or part of a square metre of the surface opened up or broken, whichever is the greater.
