Regulations under the Public Parks Ordinance 1928-1966.*

hereby make the following Regulations under the Public Parks	Ordinance
1928-1966.

A M E N D M E N T S O F T H E R E C R E A T I O N R E S E R V E R E G U L A T I O N S !

1. Regulat ion 1 of the Recreat ion Reserve Regulations is repealed and the

following regulation subs t i tu ted :—

" 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Parks Regulations.".

2. Regulat ion 2 of the Recreation Reserve Regulations is amended by omitt ing

the definition of " Reserve ".

3 . T h e Recreat ion Reserve Regulations are amended by inserting the following

regulation after regulation 1 8 : —

" 1 8A. ( 1 ) In this regulation, 'spear gun ' includes any similar device for the

catching o r killing of fish.

" (2 ) A person shall not take a spear or spear gun into a Public Park.

" (3 ) In proceedings for an offence against sub-regulation ( 2 ) , evidence that
a person carried a spear or spear gun in a Public Pa rk is evidence that the spear

or spear gun, as the case may be, was taken into the Public Park by that person.".

4. Regulation 26 of the Recreat ion Reserve Regulations is amended by

omitting the words " Ten Pounds " and substituting the symbol and figures " $50 ".

5. T h e Recreat ion Reserve Regulations are amended as set ou t in the Schedule.
