hereby make the following Regulations.

1. Regulation 39 of the Public Health (Sale of Eood and Drugs) cleanliness

Regulations is amended—	of premises.
/	(a) by omitting the word " business " and inserting in its stead

the word " premises " ;

/ (b) by omitting from paragraph (h) the word " a n d " (last

occurring) ; and

(c) by inserting at the end of that regulation the following

/ word and paragraph :—

" ; and (y) The interior surfaces of the walls and ceilings of the premises or place and the interior surfaces of the walls and ceilings of every room and compartment

|	being part of the premises or place
"	shall, to the satisfaction of the Director- General—

( i ) be painted with oil paint which

does not contain lead, or

> treated with other authorized
mater ia l ;

( i i ) shall be kept so painted and

treated; and

(iii) be repainted or otherwise treated whenever and in the manner in which the Director-General directs by notice in writing to the occupier.".
