Compensation,	1. Regulation I I of the Puhlic Health (Dairy) Regulations is " (5.) Where an authorized A^eterinary officer requires an animal to be destroyed, the Minister shall pay to the owner of the animal a sum equivalent to 50 per centum of the value of the animal as assessed in accordance with this regulation, and if the animal is sold for slaughter, or the animal is destroyed and the carcass sold, the proceeds of the sale shall be payable to, and shall be retained by, the Common- wealth."
