Regulations under the Public Health Ordinance 1928-1966.*

I K E N N E T H , make the following Regulations under the Public Health Ordinance

A M E N D M E N T S O F T H E P U B L I C H E A L T H ( D A I R Y ) R E G U L A T I O N S !

1. Regulat ion 37 of the Public Health (Dairy) Regulations is amended by

omitting sub-regulation (3.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-

regu la t ion :—

" (3 . ) A person shall not, in the course of the business carried on by him,

engage in the carriage or delivery of milk or c r e a m —

(a)

between the hour of six o'clock in the morning of a day and the hour of seven o'clock in the evening of the same day during a daylight saving period within the meaning of the Standard Time and Summer

Time Ordinance 1972; or

(b)

between the hour of six o'clock in the morning of a day and the hour of six o'clock in the evening of the same day during any other period,

unless—

(c)

he is a licensed dairyman engaged in the carriage or delivery of milk or cream in the course of his business; or

(d)

the vehicle used by him for that carriage or delivery is so constructed or equipped that the milk or cream carried in it is kept at a temperature of not more than fifty degrees Fahrenhei t . " .

2. Regulation 82 of the Public Heal th (Dairy) Regulations is repealed and the

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

following regulation inserted in its s t ead :—

" 82. A person shall not engage in the retail distribution of milk or cream from

a vehicle to houses or flats or bo th—

(a)

between the hour of six o'clock in the morning of a day and the hour of seven o'clock in the evening of the same day during a daylight saving period within the meaning of the Standard Time and Summer Time

Ordinance 1972; or

(b)

between the hour of six o'clock in the morning of a day and the hour of six o'clock in the evening of the same day during any other period.".
