AMENDMENTS OF THE POUNDS REGULATIONS, t

1. Regulations 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of the Pounds Regulations are

repealed and the following regulations inserted in their stead:—

" 4. The pound fees payable under the Ordinance shall be in accordance pourcj teCs.

For each advertisement that the pound-keeper or the Minister is

Deterrent fees.

"6.—(1.) Subject to the next succeeding sub-regulation, deterrent fees payable under the Ordinance shall be in accordance with the following scale:—

" (2.) Where an animal is impounded and another animal or other animals of the same kind belonging to the same owner have been impounded during the preceding three months, the deterrent fees payable are twice the fees specified in the scale in the last preceding sub-regulation. I

2. Regulations 10 and 11 of the Pounds Regulations are repealed and the

following regulations inserted in their stead:—

"10. The fees payable under the Ordinance for the registration of Fees for registration of
brands shall be in accordance with the following scale:— brands.

For the first brand registered for any one owner . . . . . . 5 0
For any subsequent brand registered for the same owner . . . . 3 0

"11 . Where an animal is found trespassing and that animal or any Repeated

trespassing during the period of one month immediately preceding that owner- other animal owned by the owner of that first-mentioned animal was found animals of

first-mentioned trespassing, the driving charges and trespass rates payable in respect of that first-mentioned animal shall be twice the driving charges and trespass rates prescribed by regulations 5 and 7, respectively, of these Regulations.".

The Schedule to the Pounds Regulations is amended— The Schedule.

(a) by omitting from Form 1 the words " tillage land " and inserting in their stead the words " land that contains a garden or bears a growing crop and is enclosed with a sufficient fence ";

(b) by omitting from Form 3 the words " Letter Fees " and insert-

ing in their stead the words " Deterrent Fees ";

(c) by omitting from Form 5 the words " Letter Fees " and insert-

ing in their stead the words " Deterrent Fees ";

(d) by omitting from that Form the words " or safe custody ";

(e) by omitting from Form 6 the words " or mule " and inserting

in their stead the words ", mule, ram, ewe, wether, lamb,

pig, and goat"; and

(/) by omitting from that Form the words—
