Regulations under the Plant Diseases Ordinance 1934*
I, WILLIAM MICHAEL HODGMAN, the Minister of State for the Capital Territory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Plant Diseases Ordinance 1934.

AMENDMENTS OF THE PLANT DISEASES REGULATIONS!
1. Regulation 36 of the Plant Diseases Regulations is amended by
omitting from sub-regulation (1) all words from and including " (a)
thoroughly " to and including " occasions:— " and substituting—
" (a) using a preparation that is an approved insecticide in relation to codling moth, thoroughly spray each tree on the following occasions:".
2. Regulation 37 of the Plant Diseases Regulations is amended—
(a) by omitting sub-paragraph (1) (a) (i) and substituting the following sub-paragraph: " (i) at intervals of not more than 7 days during the appropriate period apply to the foliage of the tree or vine a preparation that is an approved insecticide in relation to fruit fly or a spray, being a spray approved by an inspector that is as effectual for the control of fruit fly as any preparation that is an approved insecticide in relation to fruit fly;"; and

(b) by omitting sub-regulation ( 3 ) .
3. Regulation 40 of the Plant Diseases Regulations is repealed.
