Ordinance 1936-1956, hereby make the following Regulations.

1. These Regulations shall come into force on the twenty-first day commencement.

2. Regulation three of the Motor Vehicle (Third Pa r ty Insurance) Amendment of

Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (1.)- ' '

3. The First Schedule to the Motor Vehicle (Third Pa r ty Insurance) F i r s t
Regulations is amended— Schedule.

(a) by omitting classification (h) of Pa r t I . and inserting in its

stead the following classification:—

" (fe) Private Hire Car.—A motor car licensed, or intended

to be licensed, as a private hire car.";

(b) by adding at the end of that Pa r t the following classi-

fication :—

" (o) Taxi.—A motor car licensed, or intended to be licensed,

as a taxi.";

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

(c) by omitting item 7 of Pa r t I I . and inserting in its stead

the following items :—

" 7A I Taxi .. .. .. .. .. | 16 10 0
7B J Private Hire Car .. .. . . j 9 0 0".
