Regulations under the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1958.*

I GORDON FREETH, the Minister of State for the Interior, hereby 1936-1958.

, make the following Regulations under the Motor Traffic Ordinance

AMENDMENTS OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE (THIRD PARTY INSURANCE)

REGULATIONS.!

1. After regulation 12 of the Motor Vehicle (Third Party Insurance)

Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—

" 12A. For the purposes of paragraph (b) of sub-section (3.) of section prescribed

41 p of the Ordinance, each of the States of New South Wales, Victoria, commonwealth
Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia and the Northern

Territory of Australia is a prescribed part of the Commonwealth.".

2.—(1.) Regulation 16 of the Motor Vehicle (Third Party Insurance) premium Rates.

Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph (b) the words " Two shillings and sixpence" and inserting in their stead the words " Seven shillings and sixpence ".

(2.) The amendment made by the last preceding sub-regulation applies to and in relation to all policies issued in respect of a period which com- mences on or after the date of commencement of these Regulations.
