I , pursuance of the powers conferred on me by the Motor Traffic

Ordinance 1936-1956, hereby make the following Regulations.

A M E N D M E N T S O F T H E M O T O R T R A F F I C R E G U L A T I O N S . f

1.—(1.) Subject to this regulation, these Regulations shall come commencement,

into operation on the date on which they are notified in the Gazette.

(2.) Regulations 2 and 5 of these Regulations shall come into opera- tion on the date fixed by the Minister for the purposes of sub-section (3.) of section 2 of the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1956.

2. Regulation 5 of the Motor Traffic Regulations is amended by Definitions,

omitting from the definition of " public stand " the words " Motor Hire Car Regulations " and inserting in their stead the words " Taxi and Private Hire Car Regulations ".

3. Regulation 9 of the Motor Traffic Regulations is amended by Registration

omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the words " i n accordance with o f t r a i e r s-

4. Regulation 1 1 A of the Motor Traffic Regulations is amended—	Sale or

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the words owners trailers.

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the word " e a c h " and

inserting in its stead the word " the " ; and

(c) by omitting sub-regulation (3.) and inserting in its stead the

following sub-regulation:—

" (3.) If the Registrar approves of the transfer, he shall on payment by the applicant to the Commonwealth of a fee of Two shillings and sixpence, transfer the registra- tion of the trailer to the applicant.".
