Regulations under the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1976.*

I, ERIC L A I D L A W ROBINSON, the Minister of State for the Capital Territory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1976.

AMENDMENTS OF THE MOTOR TRAFFIC REGULATIONS!

1.  Regulation 11 of the Motor Traffic Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting sub-paragraphs ( U ) ( a ) ( i ) and ( lA) (a ) ( i i ) and sub­

stituting the following sub-paragraphs:—

" (i) in the case of the registration of the trailer, the sum of—

(A) $11.50; and
( B ) an amount calculated at the rate of 50 cents for each

50 kilograms, or part of 50 kilograms, by which the
weight of the trailer exceeds 250 kilograms; and

" (ii) in the case of the renewal of the registration of the trailer— the sum of $4 and an amount calculated at the rate of 50 cents for each 50 kilograms, or part of 50 kilograms, by which the weight of the trailer exceeds 250 kilograms; and ";

(b)

by omitting paragraph (lA)(b) and substituting the following " ( b ) for any other trailer—

1961, N o . 1; 1963, N o . 8; 1965, N o . 5; 1968, N o . 2; 1974, Nos . 3 and 17; and 1975, N o . 18.

(i)   in the case of the registration of the trailer—the sum of $7.50 and an amount calculated at the rate of 32 cents for each 25 kilograms of the weight of the trailer; and

(ii)   in the case of the renewal of the registration of the trailer—32 cents for each 25 kilograms of the weight of the trailer."; and

(c) by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) the figures and word " 25.40 kilograms " and substituting the figures and word " 25 kilograms ".

2. Regulation 22 of the Motor Traffic Regulations is amended by omitting

the words "Twenty-five cents" and substituting the symbol and figure " $1 ".

3. Regulation 33 of the Motor Traffic Regulations is amended by omitting

the Table and substituting the following Table:—
