Regulations under the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955.

I, I A N M A L C O L M M A C P H E E , the Minister of State for Productivity, acting for and on behalf of the Minis ter of State for the Capital Terr i tory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955.

A M E N D M E N T S OF THE MOTOR O M N I B U S SERVICES R E G U L A T i O N S f

1. Regulation 16 of the Motor Omnibus Services Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (2B) the words ", subject to sub-
regulation ( 2 c ) , " ; and
(b) by omitting paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (2c) and substituting
the following p a r a g r a p h : —

" (c ) a ticket for the fare provided for a journey, being a journey referred to in regulation 6AA of the M o t o r Omnibus Fares Regulations,".

2 . Where , pursuant to a demand made under sub-regulation 16 (1 ) of the Moto r Omnibus Services Regulations, a person produces for inspection the counterfoil of a ticket referred to in sub-section 3 (2 ) of the Motor Omnibus Services (Amendment) Ordinance 1977, he shall, at the request of the person making the demand, also produce for inspection a student card issued to him under the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955 and, where he fails to do so, that first-mentioned person shall not be deemed, by virtue of sub-regulation 16 ( 2 B ) of those Regulations, to have complied with the demand.
