Regulations under the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955.*
I, I A N M A L C O L M M A C P H E E , the Minister of State for Productivity, acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for the Capital Terri tory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955.

A M E N D M E N T S OF THE MOTOR O M N I B U S FARES R E G U L A T i o N s f
1. Regulat ion 6 of the Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations is amended by
inserting after the word " regulations " the figure and letters " 6AA,".
2 . After regulation 6 of the Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations the following

" 6AA. ( 1 ) Subject to sub-regulation ( 2 ) and to regulation 10, the fare to be
charged in respect of a journey in an omnibus, being a journey—
(a) by a school student in the course of travelling from his home to the school at which he is a s tudent o r from that school to his home; and
(b) that commences after 7.00 in the forenoon on a day (other than a Saturday, Sunday or day observed as a holiday in that school)
but before 5.30 in the afternoon on that first-mentioned day,
is 10 cents.
" ( 2 ) The conductor of an omnibus may require a person who tenders the amount specified in sub-regulation ( 1 ) as the fare payable in respect of a journey on that omnibus to produce a student card issued to that person under the Ordinance and, where that person fails to produce such a card, sub-regulation ( 1 ) does not apply to that person.".

3. Regulation 6D of the Motor Omnibus Fares Regulations is amended—
(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the words ", other than books of tickets referred to in sub-section 4CA (3 ) of the Ordinance," ; and
(b ) by omitt ing sub-regulation ( 2 ) .
