Amendments of the Maintenance Regulations (ACT)

Regulations under the Maintenance Ordinance 1968.*

WH E R E A S it is provided by sub-section (1 . ) of section 93 of the Main­ tenance Ordinance 1968 that, where the At torney-General is satisfied

that the law of a country makes provision for the enforcement in that country of maintenance orders made in another country and that under that law Terri tory orders may be made enforceable in that country, regulations may be made under that Ordinance declaring that country to be a reciprocating country for the purposes of Par t IV. of that Ordinance :

A N D W H E R E A S I, IVOR J O H N G R E E N W O O D , the At torney-General of

the Commonweal th , am satisfied that the law of each of the following countries, namely, Fiji, Malaysia, Malta, Sierra Leone, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda and Western Samoa, makes provision for the enforcement in that country of main­ tenance orders made in another country and that under that law Terr i tory orders may be made enforceable in that country:

aforesaid, hereby make the following Regulation under the Maintenance	Ordin­
ance 1968.
