Regulations under the Health Commission Ordinance 1975.*

make the following Regulations under the Health Commission Ordinance 1975.

1. Regulation 4 of the Heal th Commission (Charges) Regulations is amended

2 . Regulation 7 of the Health Commission (Charges) Regulations is

a m e n d e d —

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the words "The prescribed
c h a r g e " and substituting the words "Sub jec t to sub-regulation ( 1 A ) ,

the prescribed charge "; and

(b) by inserting, after sub-regulation ( 1 ) , the following sub-regulat ion:— " ( 1A) Where 3 or more persons are transported together in an ambulance , the prescribed charge for the transport of each of those persons is an amount equal to three-quarters of the amount that would, but for this sub-regulation, be the prescribed charge." .

3 . Regulation 9 of the Heal th Commission (Charges) Regulations is repealed

and the following regulation substituted:—•

" 9 . The prescribed charge, for the purpose of sub-section 7 4 ( 1 ) of the

Ordinance, for the supply of copies of documents relating t o —

(a)

the accommodation or treatment of a person at a hospital, nursing- home or hostel conducted by the Commission; or

(b)

the provision by the Commission of a professional service to a person, otherwise than at a hospital, nursing-home or hostel conducted by the Commission,

is $10.".

4. The Schedule to the Health Commission (Charges) Regulations is repealed

and the following Schedule substituted:—

5. ( 1 ) The amendment effected by regulation 4 of these Regulations does not apply in relation to a dental service provided by the Capital Territory Health Commission where any act forming part of the provision of that service was done before the commencement of these Regulations.

( 2 ) The Health Commission (Charges) Regulations, as in force immediately before the commencement of these Regulations, continue to apply in relation to a dental service provided by the Capital Territory Health Commissio n where any act forming part of the provision of that service was done before the commence­ ment of these Regulations.
