Regulations under the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance

1955-1974.*

I, GORDON MUNRO BRYANT, the Minister of State for the Capital Territory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955-1974.

AMENDMENTS OF THE COMMONWEALTH MOTOR OMNIBUS SERVICES

REGULATIONS!

1. Regulation 1 of the Commonwealth Motor Omnibus Services Regulations is amended by omitting the word " Commonwealth".

2 . Regulation 3 of the Commonwealth Motor Omnibus Services Regulations is amended—

(a)	by omitting from the definition of "omnibus" the word "Common­ wealth ";
(b)	by omitting from the definition of " the Ordinance" the words "Commonwealth Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955 " and substituting the words "Motor Omnibus Services Ordinance 1955- 1974"; and
(c)	by omitting from sub-regulation (2) the word "Commonwealth" where first occurring.

3. Regulation 15 of the Commonwealth Motor Omnibus Services Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (3) and substituting the following sub- regulation:—

(3) This regulation does not apply to a passenger who has purchased a daily or a monthly ticket and is entitled to travel, on production of that ticket, without payment of the fare otherwise applicable.".

4. Regulation 16 of the Commonwealth Motor Omnibus Services Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (2A) and substituting the following paragraph:—

" (a) a person who has purchased a daily or a monthly ticket is entitled to travel, on production of that ticket, without pay­ ment of the fare otherwise applicable;";

(b)	by inserting in paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (2A) afier the words " produces for inspection his " the words " daily or "; and
(c)	by inserting in sub-regulation (3) after the words "produce for inspection his " the words " daily or ".
