Regulations under the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 19391

I, ROBERT JAMES ELLICOTT, the Minister of State for the Capital Territory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Co­ operative Societies Ordinance 1939.

A M E N D M E N T S OF THE CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES

REGULATIONS 2

1. Regulation 2 of the Co-operative Societies Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) the definition "the Ordi­ nance " a n d substituting the following definition:

" ' the Ordinance' means the Co-operative Societies Ordinance

1939.".

2. After regulation 2 of the Co-operative Societies Regulations the

following regulation is inserted:

" 2 A . For the purposes of paragraph 14G (1) (d) of the Ordinance,

"Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1939".

the amount prescribed is $3,000.".

3. After regulation 28 of the Co-operative Societies Regulations the

following heading is inserted:

" S C H E D U L E "

4. The Schedule to the Co-operative Societies Regulations is
amended by omitting from Forms A to S (inclusive) "Co-operative
Societies Ordinance 1939-1956" (wherever occurring) and substituting

5. The Schedule to the Co-operative Societies Regulations is amended by omitting from Form B "Statutory Declarations Act 1911-1944," and substituting " Statutory Declarations Act 1959,".

6. The Co-operative Societies Regulations are further amended as

set out in the Schedule.
