Regulations under the Canberra Community Hospital

Ordinance 1938-1952, hereby make the following Regulations.

H O S P I T A L ( C H A R G E S ) R E G U L A T I O N S .

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on the first day of CommencenKBt.

October, 1954.

Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof the following ln*P^Kal»- 2. Regulation 5 of the Canberra Community Hospital (Charges) charges for

sub-regulation:—

" ( 2 . ) I n this regulation, ' t r e a t m e n t ' does not include the removal

of a person to, or from, the Hospital.".

3. After regulation 9 of the Canberra Community Hospital

(Charges) Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—

for the removal of a person to, or from, the Hospital by ambulance is ch»r8es'	" 10.— (1.) Subject to the next succeeding sub-regulation, the charge Ambulance
Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

Twelve shillings and sixpence.

" (2 . ) If an ambulance is required to travel outside the Territory for the purpose of removing a person to, or from, the Hospital, the charge for the removal of the person to, or from, the Hospital is an amount calculated at the rate of One shilling and sixpence for each mile or part of a mile travelled by the ambulance from the ambulance station for the purpose of the removal of the person, in removing the person and in returning to the ambulance station after the removal.".
