Regulations under the Canberra Community Hospital

, the following Regulations under the Canberra Community	Hospital	Ordinance

A M E N D M E N T S OF THE CANBERRA C O M M U N I T Y HOSPITAL (CHARGES)

REGULATIONS!

1. Regulation 6 of the Canberra Communi ty Hospital (Charges) Regulations

is amended by omitting sub-regulation (1 . ) and inserting in its stead the following
sub-regulation:—

" (1.) Subject to regulation 11 of these Regulations, the charge for treatment provided by the Board for an in-patient is at the rate of—

(a)	Fifteen dollars per day in respect of an in-patient in a general ward; and
(b)	Twenty-six dollars thirty cents per day in respect of an in-patient in a
private ward. ' ' .

2. Regulation 8 of the Canberra Communi ty Hospital (Charges) Regulations is amended by omitting the words " an in-patient or ".

3. Regulation 1 1 of the Canberra Communi ty Hospital (Charges) Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (2.) and inserting in its stead the following paragraph: —

" (a) a charge at the rate of Thir ty dollars per day in respect of each day

4.—(I.) The rates of charges prescribed by sub-regulation (I.) of regulation 6 and sub-regulation (2.) of regulation 11 of the Canberra Communi ty Hospital (Charges) Regulations as in force immediately before the commencement of these Regulations and regulation 8 of those Regulations continue to apply to and in relation to treatment provided for an in-patient up to and including the thirtv-first day of July, 1971.

(2.) The rates of charges prescribed by sub-regulation (1.) of regulation 6 and sub-regulation (2.) of regulation 11 of the Canberra Communi ty Hospital (Charges) Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply to and in relation to treatment provided for an in-patient on and after the first day of August, 1971.
