I in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Building and Services
Ordinance 1924-1942, hereby make the following Regulations under the

said Ordinance.

A M E N D M E N T S OF T H E C A N B E R R A AND J E R V I S BAY

E L E C T R I C S U P P L Y R E G U L A T I O N S .

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on the first (lav of commencement.

July, 1944.

2. Regulation 6A of the Canberra and Jcrvis Bay Electric Supply charges for

Regulations is amended— commereiai,

(a) by omitting paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (2.) and p"™';.™"01'

inserting in its stead the following paragraph :— broadcasting

"(b) I n Jervis Bay—

For electricity used for lighting purposes— Cd. per unit for all primary units, 5d. per unit for all secondary units, and 4d. per unit for all additional unit-;, used during the month to which the reading relates;

For electricity used for power purposes—

|	For each meter (not exceeding two)—a rental of 6d. per month :
Provided that where the supply of electricity is commenced or terminated after the com- mencement of any month, a rental of (id. for each meter shall be charged in respect of the portion of that month during which the meter is installed."; and
Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

(b) by omitting paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (4.) and

inserting in its stead the following paragraph :—

" (b) I n Jervis Bay—6d. per unit for all primary units

and l | d . per unit for all secondary units.".
