* Ordinance 1924-1942, hereby make the following Regulations.

A M E N D M E N T S OF T H E C A N B E R R A A N D J E R V I S BAY
E L E C T R I C S U P P L Y R E G U L A T I O N S .

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on the first day of commencement.

December, 1950.

2. Regulation 6A of the Canberra and Jervis Bay Electric Supply charges for

( a ) by omitting from paragraph («) of sub-regulation (2.) the rurafand*1'

(b) by omitting from paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (4.) the premlse! figures " 1,-g " and inserting in their stead the figures " 1 | " ; motion picture

(c) by omitting sub-regulation (6.) and inserting in its stead

* . the following sub-regulations :—
' " (6.) The charges for the supply of electricity to

motion picture premises shall be as follows:—

For electricity used for lighting purposes—

(a) In the City Area and in a Rural Area—in accordance with the rates prescribed by paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (2.) of this regulation for the supply to commer- cial premises of electricity used for lighting, other than shop window lighting, purposes.

(b) I n Jervis Bay—in accordance with the rates prescribed by paragraph (b) of sub-regu- lation (2.) of this regulation for the supply to commercial premises of elec- tricity used for lighting purposes.

For electricity used for power purposes—1^-d. per

unit.

For electricity used in connexion with a projection

machine—2d. per unit.

" (6AA. ) A rental of 6d. per month or part of a month shall be charged for each meter (not exceeding two) installed in motion picture premises."; and

(<#) by omitting sub-regulation ( 6 B . ) and inserting in its stead

the following sub-regulation :—
" ( 6 B . ) The charges for the supply to any broadcasting station of all electricity recorded by any meter used for the purpose of ascertaining the quantity of electricity sup- ^ a t .

plied to that station shall be at the rate of l jd . per unit for ^ ^ »
all units consumed irrespective of the purpose for which •
the electricity was used.".
