Regulations under the Machinery Ordinance 1949.*

GORDON FREETH, the Minister of State for the Interior, hereby

make the following Regulations under the Machinery Ordinance 1949.

AMENDMENTS OF THE BOILERS AND PRESSURE VESSELS

REGULATIONS.!

1. Regulation 5 of the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Regulations is Definitions

amended by omitting the definition of " maximum allowable working
pressure " and inserting in its stead the following definition:—

" ' maximum allowable working pressure', in relation to a boiler or pressure vessel, means the maximum allowable working pressure specified in the certificate of inspection for the time being in force in relation to the boiler or pressure vessel;".

2. Regulation 22 of the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Regulations is Boilers and

3. Regulation 24 of the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Regulations is certificate of

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

mended by omitting paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (1.) and inserting inspection.

w its stead the following paragraph:—

" (a) issue to the operator a certificate of inspection; and ".

4. Regulation 39 of the Boilers and Pressure Vessels Regulations is issue of boiler

amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the words "in accordance JS^^J'*

with Form 2 in the First Schedule to these Regulations ".

5. The First Schedule to the Boiler and Pressure Vessels Regulations First Schedule,

is repealed.
