Regulations under the Adoption of Children Ordinance 1965 1

I, ROBERT JAMES ELLICOTT, the Minister of State for the Capital Territory, hereby make the following Regulations under the Adoption of Children Ordinance 1965.

A M E N D M E N T S OF THE ADOPTION OF CHILDREN

REGULATIONS 2

1. Regulation 10 of the Adoption of Children Regulations is

amended by omitting from sub-regulation (6)—

"Matrimonial Causes Act 1959-1965 "

and substituting—

"Family Law Act 1975".

2. Regulation 11 of the Adoption of Children Regulations is

amended —

(a)	the order had been made under the Ordinance;
(b)	the Register of Adopted Children kept under the repealed Ordinances were the Register of Adoptions;
and
(c)	the entry in the Register of Adopted Children relating to the order were a memorandum of the order sent to the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages for the pur­ poses of section 56 of the Ordinance.".

(a)	by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "the last preceding regu- la t ion"and substituting "regulation 10";
(b )	by omitting from sub-regulation (2) " the last preceding regu­ la t ion" and substituting "regulation 10"; and
(c)	by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:

" ( 7 ) The preceding provisions of this regulation have effect, in relation to an adoption order made under the repealed Ordi­ nances and in force on the date of commencement of the Adop­ tion of Children (Amendment) Ordinance 1979, as if—
