Regulations under the Police Ordinance 1927-1934.*

I , Commonwealth of Australia, in pursuance of the powers conferred
by the Police Ordinance 1927-1934, hereby make the following Regulations. Dated this sixteenth day of October, 1940.

A M E N D M E N T S O F P O L I C E E E G U L A T I O N S .
1. Eegulation 15 of the Police Eegulations is amended by omitting Recreation
sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following sub- leave '
regulation:—
" (1.) After a member of the Force has served for twelve months
and thereafter during each subsequent calendar year, the Chief Officeror period.s not exceeding twTenty-four actual working days in the whole may grant to the member leave of absence for recreation for any period
in each year.".
2. Eegulation 16 of the Police Eegulations is amended by omitting sick leave
the proviso to sub-regulation (2.) and inserting in its stead the
following sub-regulation :—•" ( 2 A . ) In addition to or substitution for any sick leave granted in pursuance of the last preceding sub-regulation, the Attorney-General may, in hi.s discretion, and having regard to the circumstances of each case, grant sick leave on full pay or half pay for such period as he considers desirable.".
