An Act to amend
the Amendments Incorporation Act 1905

BE
IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and the House of Representatives of the
Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:
Short
title, &c.
1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Amendments Incorporation Amendment Act 1980.
(2) The Amendments Incorporation Act 19051 is in this Act
referred to as the Principal Act.
Commencement
2. This Act shall be
deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 1980.
Incorporation
of amendments in reprints of Acts
3. Section 2 of the
Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-section (2) and substituting the
following sub-section:
“(2) In every reprint of any Act as
so amended, reference shall be made in the margin, or in a footnote or endnote,
to the enactment by which each amendment was made.”.
