AMENDMENTS

INCORPORATION.

AN ACT to amend the Amendments Incorporation

Act, 1938.

[Assented to 27th September, 1962.]

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent

Majesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative

Assembly of Western Australia, in this present

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the

same, as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Amendments 2.1giAattro„.

Incorporation Act Amendment Act, 1962.

(2) In this Act the Amendments Incorporation °Ana 22

Act, 1938, is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Amendments Incorporation Act, 1938-1962.

2. Section three of the principal Act is amended— 8.3 amended.

(a) by substituting for the comma after the word, "words", being the last word in para- graph (c) of subsection (1), the passage, "; or";

(b) by adding after that paragraph the follow- ing paragraph:

(d) An alteration of or addition to the text of the Act that has been made under the authority of any Act by proclamation, order, regulation, -rule or other instrument, whether that instrument makes a direct amend- ment to the Act, or whether upon the making of that instrument the Act is deemed or taken to be amended or is to have effect as if amended or any addition to, deletion from, or varia- tion of, the Act is deemed or taken to be made. ;

(c) by adding after the word, "enactment" in line two of subsection (2), the words, "or instrument".

amended. 3. Section five of the principal Act is amended

(a)	by adding after the word, "by" in line two, the words, "or under"; and
(b)	by adding after the word, "amended", being the last word in the section, the words, "in any manner referred to in section three of this Act".

Section six of the principal Act is amended

(a)	by adding after the word, "Act" where secondly occurring in line one, the passage, "whether before or after the coming into operation of the Amendments Incorpora- tion Act Amendment Act, 1962"; and
(b)	by substituting for the words, "and deemed for all purposes to be an Act of the Parlia- ment of Western Australia" in lines three and four, the passage, "and shall be deemed to be a correct copy of the Act as amended by or under the Acts referred to and printed on the Act, in accordance with section five of this Act, without further proof, unless the contrary is shown".
