Amendment to the list of threatened species under section 178 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (98)

I, PETER ROBERT GARRETT, Minister for Environment Protection, Heritage and the Arts, pursuant to section 184(1) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, hereby amend the list referred to in section 178(1) of that Act by:

deleting from the list in the vulnerable category:

• Acacia chinchillensis
• Austrostipa nullanulla
• Callistemon sp. Boulia (L.Pedley 5297)
• Dillwynia tenuifolia
• Diuris sheaffiana
• Eucalyptus blaxellii
• Ipomoea sp. Stirling (P.K.Latz 10408)
• Pleurophascum occidentale
• Pultenaea campbellii
• Pultenaea stuartiana

deleting from the list in the endangered category:

• Apatophyllum constablei

including in the list in the vulnerable category:

• Phascogale pirata

• Tyto novaehollandiae castanops (Tasmanian population)

including in the list in the endangered category:

• Antipodia chaostola leucophaea
• Ceyx azureus diemenensis
• Prasophyllum pruinosum
• Ricinocarpos brevis

including in the list in the critically endangered category:

• Azorella macquariensis

• Hibbertia tenuis

• Leucopogon spectabilis

• Pityrodia axillaris

• Scaevola macrophylla

• Verticordia apecta

transfering from the vulnerable to endangered category:

• Eucalyptus canobolensis
