Amendment to the list of threatened species made under section 178 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (230)

I, SUSSAN LEY, Minister for the Environment, under sections 184(a) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, amend the list of threatened species made under section 178 of that Act by:

(1)  Including the following species in the list in the Extinct category:

·     Bettongia anhydra

·     Bettongia pusilla

·     Conilurus capricornensis

·     Notomys robustus

·     Perameles myosurus

·     Perameles notina

·     Perameles papillon

·     Pseudomys auritus

·     Pseudomys glaucus

·     Pteropus brunneus

This instrument commences the day after registration.
