Amendment to the list of threatened species, ecological communities and key threatening processes under section 178, 181 and 183 of the
Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth) (153)

I, GEOFF RICHARDSON, delegate of the Minister for the Environment under section 184(1)(d) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth), amend the list referred to in section 178, 181 and 183 of that Act by:

a)     inserting before the heading SPECIES THAT ARE ENDANGERED

SPECIES THAT ARE CRITICALLY ENDANGERED

b)inserting before the heading SPECIES THAT ARE EXTINCT

SPECIES THAT ARE CONSERVATION DEPENDENT

SPECIES THAT ARE EXTINCT IN THE WILD

c)inserting after the heading SPECIES THAT ARE EXTINCT

ECOLOGICAL COMMUNITIES THAT ARE CRITICALLY ENDANGERED

d)inserting before the heading KEY THREATENING PROCESSES

ECOLOGICAL COMMUNITIES THAT ARE VULNERABLE

e)omitting the item numbers from the items in the list

This instrument is taken to have commenced on 16 July 2000.
