Amendment to the list of migratory species under section 209 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999

I, GREG HUNT, Minister for the Environment, pursuant to section 209(6) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, hereby amend the list referred to in section 209 of that Act by updating the names of the following listed migratory species:

Catharacta maccormicki South Polar Skua to Stercorarius maccormicki

Heteroscelus incanus Wandering Tattler to Tringa incana

Puffinus carneipes to Ardenna carneipes

Puffinus griseus to Ardenna grisea

Puffinus pacificus to Ardenna pacifica

Puffinus tenuirostris to Ardenna tenuirostris

This instrument will commence on 9 June 2016.
