Amendment to the list of migratory species established under section 209 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999

I, SUSSAN LEY, Minister for the Environment, under paragraph 209(1)(b) of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, amend the Declaration under s209 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 – List of Migratory Species (13/07/2000) (the List) established under paragraph 209(3)(a) of that Act by:

(1) Including the following species in the List (Fish):

·     Carcharhinus longimanus

(2) Removing the following species from the List (Insects):

·     Danaus plexippus

This instrument commences the day after registration.
