Regulations under the Rabbit Destruction Ordinance

A , for Works, acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for the Interior, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Babbit Destruction Ordinance 1919-1938, hereby make the following Regulations.

A M E N D M E N T O F T H E E A B B I T D E S T R U C T I O N

R E G U L A T I O N S .

Definitions. !• Regulation 2 of the Rabbit Destruction Regulations is

amended—

(a) by omitting the definition of " Authorized officer" and

inserting in its stead the following definition:—

" ' Authorized officer', in relation to any act, matter or thing, means an officer thereto authorized in writing by the Minister; " ;

(&), by inserting, after the definition of " Crown Land ", the

following definition:—

" 'Di rec to r -Genera l ' means the Director-General of

Works; "; and

(c) by omitting the definition of " The Minister ".

Application to 2. Regulation 10 of the Rabbit Destruction Regulations is

8. The Schedule to the Rahbil Destruction Regulations is Amondment to

(b) by omitting from the Forms therein the words " fo r Home

and Terr i tor ies" (wherever occurring) and inserting in

(c) by omitting from paragraph 13 of Form 1 the word " Queanbeyan" and inserting in its stead the word " Canberra " ; and
