AMENDMENT OP THE PUBLIC HEALTH (GENERAL

SANITATION) REGULATIONS.

Regulation 5 of the Public Health (General Sanitation) Regulations

is repealed and the following regulation inserted in its stead:—

through, in or upon any public place except in a vehicle or receptacle ° re u3e' " 5. A person shall not convey, or cause any refuse to be conveyed Conveyance

so enclosed or covered as to prevent the escape of the refuse from the vehicle or receptacle, or, if the refuse is moist or contains any liquid, except in a covered watertight vehicle or receptacle so constructed as to prevent the escape of the contents from the vehicle or receptacle.".
