1928-1930.

Ordinance 1928-1930, hereby make the following Regulations.

After regulation 40 of the Public Health (Dairy) Regulations the

following regulations are inserted:—

" 4 0 A . — ( 1 . )

A person shall not sell cream—

saieof

(a) to which any other substance has been added;

(b) under any description other than that of ' c r e a m ' or

' reduced

c r e a m ' ;

(c) under the description of ' cream ' unless it contains thirty-

five per centum of milk fat; or

(d) under the description of ' reduced cream ' unless it contains

twenty-five per centum of milk fat.

(2.) A person shall not sell, under the description of ' cream ' or

' reduced cream ', any substance which is not cream.

(3.) For the purposes of this regulation, ' c r e a m ' means that

portion of milk in which, either through rest or mechanical separation

the greater part of the milk fat in the milk has become concentrated.

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

A person shall not sell reconstituted cream—

sale of

(a) under any description other than that of ' reconstituted "earn"*11""1

cream ' or ' reconstituted reduced cream ' ;

(b) under the description of 'reconstituted c ream' unless it

contains thirty-five per centum of milk fa t ; or

(c) under the description of ' reconstituted reduced c ream '

unless it contains twenty-five per centum of milk fat.

(2.) A person shall not sell under the description of ' reconstituted cream ' or ' reconstituted reduced oream ' any substance which is not reconstituted cream.

(3.) For the purposes of this regulation, 'reconstituted c ream' mean3 the fluid produced by emulsifying a mixture of butter and milk or water and dried skim milk or separated milk with the aid of heat and agitation.".
