Regulations under the Motor Traffic

Ordinance 1936-1943.

T J O S E P H S I L V E R COLLINGS, Minister of State for the Interior, *•, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Motor Traffic Ordinance 1936-1943 hereby make the following Regulations.

A M E N D M E N T O F T H E MOTOR T R A F F I C R E G U L A T I O N S .

1. The Limitation of Speed Order made by the Minister on the Hepcaiof

twenty-eighth day of February, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-

three is hereby repealed.

2. The Motor Traffic Regulations are amended by adding, after

regulation 33, the following regulations:—

" 3 4 . The limit of speed at which any motor vehicle or class of Limitationof
motor vehicle may travel in the public streets within the City Area, as aread—°lty
defined in the City Area Leases Ordinance 1936-1938, shall be thirty
miles per hour.

" 3 5 . The limit of speed at whiph any motor vehicle or class of Limitation

motor vehicle may travel in any public street or road outside the City outside city
^Yrea, as defined by the City Area Leases Ordinance 1936-1938, shall be area-

P^iirty miles per hour.".

3. The Third Schedule to the Motor Traffic Regulations is amended Prohibition °'

3436. —PKICK 3D.—L

by inserting after the word " P a r k e s " (second occurring) the following parking in'

paragraphs:— certain places.

Public streets adjacent to and on the north-eastern and south-eastern sides

of Commonwealth Offices, East Block.

Public streets adjacent to and on the north-eastern and north-western sides

of Commonwealth Offices, West Block.
