Amendment of the Mining Regulations (ACT)

A, Executive Council, acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for the Interior, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Mining Ordinance 1930-1938, hereby make the following Regulation.

A M E N D M E N T OF T H E M I N I N G R E G U L A T I O N S .

The first Sehedule to the Mining Regulations is amended— Jirat Schedule.

(a) hy omitting from Form 1 the words " Minister of State for
Home Affairs (or, the Delegate of the Minister of State

for Home Affairs, as the case may b e . ) " and .inserting

in their stead the words " M i n i n g Registrar.";

(b) by omitting from Form 3 the words "Minis ter of State
for Home Affairs (or, the Delegate of the Minister of State

for Home Affairs, as the case may be.) " and inserting

in. their stead the words " M i n i n g Registrar .";

(c) hy omitting from Form 6 the words " of State for Home

Affairs " (first occuring) ;

(d) by omitting from Form 6 the words "Minis ter of State for Home Affairs, or Delegate of the Minister of State for Home Affairs, as the case may be." and inserting in their stead the words " (Signature of Minister or Delegate of Minister) " ;
(e) by omitting from Form 11 the words "Minis ter of State for Home Affairs " and inserting in their stead the words " Mining Registrar " ;

( / ) by omitting from Form 11 the word " Min i s te r" and

inserting in its stead the words " Mining Registrar " ;

(g) hy omitting from Form 12 the words "Depar tment of

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

Home Affairs, Federal Capital Territory Branch,

Canberra.";

(h) by omitting from Form 13 the words " Minister of State

for Home Affairs" (first occurring) and inserting in

their stead the words " M i n i n g R e g i s t r a r " ;

(?') by omitting from that Form the words " Minister of State for Home Affairs, or, Delegate of the Minister of State for Home Affairs, as the case may be." and inserting in their stead the words " Mining Registrar.".
